The lovely editor at this venue (new to me) wrote to say he loved my autobiographical flash, What we did at half term, so much he "couldn't not publish it". He also invited me to send more stories. What a very nice man.
Oh! Hello there. Didn't know you'd read this and so we're sharing the blushes. But seriously, you made my day yesterday with the lovely acceptance. Thanks again!
My debut crime novel, Someone Else's Skin, will be published in February 2014 by Headline in the UK and Penguin in the US.
I'm represented by Jane Gregory, of Gregory & Company. Thank you for reading. I'm always happy to be emailed: sarah_hilary@btinternet.com
"... brilliant. The puns and the ambiguity are fabulous, the general attitude / feel is really clear and well sustained and the end is very sharp. I love it." Ra Page, Editor, Comma Press

Now I'm the one who's blushing :-)
Can't wait to publish the story though!
Cheers.

Congrats, Sarah! And he is a lovely man, although from that picture he could do with a shave.
Thanks, Tania!
